A Day in the Life of a Gratitude Healer - Paula
Dennison’s Words
What Is A Gratitude Healer?
A
gratitude healer is someone who uses the survival lightkey of gratitude to heal
their own lives and the lives of those around them by their thoughts, words and
deeds.
Who Can Be A Gratitude Healer?
Any
man, woman, child or pet
What Does One Have To Do To Be A Gratitude
Healer?
One
has to make a decision to always speak empowering words and never say anything
to hurt just for the satisfaction of getting the better of someone. One has to
learn to express gratitude and do things to make others happy. One has to
notice good things always be grateful for all the things that they have. and
they need to express their thanks daily.
Greetings in the Light, Beloved Ones.
We
all are seeking a path that will lead us to reaching our goals and having our
dreams come true. We all have dreams buried in our hearts. Some of us have
hidden our dreams, feeling we cannot have our deepest desires. There is a way
to build your life so you have what you dream of. It doesn’t matter where you
are right now.
Gratitude
- Gratitude is allowing feelings of joy and thankfulness to flow into your
heart by looking around at your world and seeing the good in it. You have air,
give thanks for breath. You have food, give thanks for that. You have water,
give thanks for that. And you have so very much more in your world. Look at it
with open eyes and you will feel an inner joy welling up. “Thank you,” you will
say. That is gratitude.
Gratitude
is also accepting what is, as it is, and being thankful you are having that
experience. One person said every day above ground is a triumph. Gravity is
always pulling us down so if we are still upright we are a winner. I am so
grateful for learning this. For many years I complained about all the negative
things I experienced, especially from attacks by others. They are still
attacking but it no longer bothers me because there is so much good I can focus
on.
You
see life is about what you pay attention to. I have seen flowers growing up
through dried up cow patties. What do you focus on—the flower or the cow dung.
It’s a choice you can make about everything that happens in your life.
The Story of Paula
We
will follow Paula Dennison through a full day in her life and see how she takes
advantage of all the gratitude and self-esteem building opportunities she finds
in her life. You see expressing gratitude and experiencing gratitude both
change the chemicals in the brains. They give you a jolt of pleasure and make
you feel happy. Paula likes feeling happy so she takes every opportunity she
finds in her day to be happy. By following Paula’s day we will learn how to be
grateful, joyous and build our own self-esteem and the self-esteem of others.
Paula
was always in demand whenever a party was planned or an event was in the works.
Everyone wanted Paula around. People would say, “We’ve got to include Paula.
She makes everybody feel better.” Others would say, “It’s not going to be any
fun without Paula.” People would look for Paula and feel better when they saw
her walking across the park to the Picnic. Now we’ll have some fun. What was
there about Paula that made everyone so happy to see her? What did she do that
everybody loved her. Sometimes she brought treats, but not always. Yet people
were always looking forward to spending time with her. Here’s what Paula did
and what you can do as well:
Here Are All of The Times Paula Uses Gratitude 360s
- When she woke up in the night
- When she woke in the morning
- When she went into the bathroom
- When she went into the kitchen
- When she began breakfast
- When her children come into the kitchen
- When everyone sits down to breakfast
- When breakfast is finished
- When driving to work
- When she arrived at work
- When she entered the office
- When she begins her work
- When she sees a colleague having a problem
- When she goes to lunch
- During the afternoon break
- When the workday is over
- On the way home
- When she arrives home
- When they sit down to dinner
- After dinner
- When the children are in bed
- In the bedroom with her husband
When she woke up in the night
She
did Gratitude 360s. A Gratitude 360 is where you look 360 degrees around in a
circle and give thanks for everything you see: clock, lamp, light bulb, night
tables, curtains, windows that open and close, bed, bedding, pillows, wall
hanging, cosmetics, water glass, calendar, photos on wall, Bible, books,
bookshelf, computer, earphones, mouse, flash drive, walls without holes, rug on
floor, heater or air conditioner, cup, teddy bear, shoes, closet with clothes,
my husband (wife, lover, partner).
Practicing Gratitude 360s is one
of the most powerful ways we know to change your inner beliefs, to gain
prosperity, to become happy, to see how blessed we are, to understand how good
life has been to us. Being grateful is the survival lightkey for all of us in
the gratitude immersion culture we are developing. But some people come to
gratitude from a background of abuse, neglect, pains, losses and adversities.
We tend to focus on what we feel is lacking in our lives. We focus on lack
instead of abundance. But most of us who are reading this webpage have already been
given so much. We just don’t know it, don’t acknowledge it and thus do not feel
gratitude for it. And we thus do not invoke the gratitude law of attraction.
So we are going to begin our gratitude
work giving thanks for the things we have now. I tend to do them about 3 am
when I wake up in the morning but they can be done at any time.
Doing Gratitude 360s is very
easy. You look around in a 360 degree circle of an area such as your room and
say gratitude for each item you see. “I am grateful for my bed. I am grateful
for.. “Whatever you have in your room is
a gift. There are billions of people in the world who do not have those things.
You are blessed to have them. The fact that you possess these things is not
trivial. It is very important to realize that each thing in your life is a
special blessing just for you. Not everyone shares that blessing. You are
chosen to have these wonderful things. And the universe that gave them to you
deserves your gratitude.
So take a look at the chart below
and begin looking around your areas for things to be grateful for.
- · When you wake up in the night
- · When you feel poor
- · When you feel others are favored
- · When you have an unfair incident
- · When someone picks on you
- · When you lose something
- · When you fail at something
- · When you do not win a competition
- · When you feel like others have more that you
- · When you feel that life is unfair
- · When you feel unjustly treated
- · When you feel you are unlucky
- · When you want to be more blessed
- · When you want to invoke the Gratitude Law of Attraction
- · When you want to reprogram your subconscious mind
- · When you want to become joyful
You can make a game of this with
your children. Sit in the living room and see who can see how many things there
are to be grateful for in 1 minute, or three minutes or five minutes. Then each
person says their grateful statements aloud so everyone can hear them. Give a small prize each night for the winner.
Or give Gratitude Dollars.
When she woke up in the night
Paula
begins to look around and to say her gratitude for each item she sees” Thank
you for all the good things in my life right now.
Thank
you for my wonderful husband (mate, partner, lover).
Thank
you for my wonderful home.”
Every
item she sees from her bed is given the same treatment.
Thank
you for my clock, my night table, etc."
I invite you to practice Gratitude 360s every day. You are also invited to participate in the Gratitude Challenge.
